Hello everyone, Kiryu904 here. Earlier today, I watched the recent sci-fi thriller from Netflix called iBoy, which is based on the novel of the same name by Kevin Brooks. The movie is directed by Adam Randall and stars Bill Milner, Maisie Williams, Rory Kinnear and Miranda Richardson. I have to say, the premise of this film does sound silly: following an accident where fragments of his smartphone become embedded in his brain, a teenager named Tom awakens from a coma and soon discovers that the fragments have given him super powers. What I saw was actually a fairly serious story. It wasn't anything new, but I still found it entertaining. I liked some of the characters and how they interacted with each other. I particularly enjoyed seeing Tom doing various things with his abilities. The performances throughout the movie were pretty good and the special effects looked nicely done. Sadly, I thought the soundtrack was kind of standard. With all of that said, this was a cool movie, but nothing really that great. Okay, that's all I have to say on this post.
